Generosity for Generations Campaign gains momentum Community’s generosity makes all things possible
Sun City, Ariz. (Oct. 23, 2019) –Sun Health Foundation’s Generosity for Generations Campaign has reached 41 percent of the $48 million goal – in just 12 months. Funding will make possible new advancements in health care and wellness at Banner Boswell and Banner Del E. Webb medical centers, and Sun Health Wellness.
“This is a testament to the groundswell of community support for this Campaign that will ensure vital new advancements in health care can continue to be available today and into the future,” says Gina W. Ore, Chief Philanthropy Officer for Sun Health Foundation.
“From generations of families and new West Valley residents, to physicians, communities of faith, administrative health care leaders, allied professionals and other community partners, it takes a village to fund these initiatives,” she adds.
Continued support continues to be needed to keep the momentum going – and will make possible these exciting new advancements in health care and wellness:
- Emergency Department and Patient Care Transformation at Banner Boswell Medical Center ($34M)
- Cancer-Fighting Treatment and Care Advancement at Banner Boswell and Banner Del E. Webb medical centers ($2M)
- Service Enhancements for Women and Infants at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center (goal $2M)
- Spine Health and Orthopedics at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center ($2M)
- Community Health and Wellness ($2M)
- Future cardiac and cancer care needs ($2M)
