Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center opened its doors in 1988 with strong backing from Sun Health Foundation donors. Virtually all patient-centered improvements in the medical center’s history have been funded through community philanthropic support. Now, Sun Health Foundation and Banner Health have made a commitment to further invest in the quality of health care in our community by funding a new Progressive Care Unit featuring 28 private patient rooms, to be housed on the medical center’s fifth floor D-Tower.
