Valley fever (coccidioidomycosis) is a fungal infection unique to the Southwest that affects thousands of Arizonans each year. Dr. Rundbaken has treated thousands of Valley fever cases, including severe and disseminated infections, and authored Valley Fever: Silent Epidemic. In this presentation, he will explain how Valley fever is contracted, symptoms to look for, treatment options, and steps patients can take to protect their health.
