Banner Boswell Medical Center has earned its place among Arizona’s finest hospitals, ranking #5 in the state and #4 in the Phoenix metro area in the 2025–2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals rankings. The facility achieved “High Performing” status across 12 specialty areas, including heart bypass surgery, aortic valve repair, hip and knee replacement, lung cancer surgery, and stroke care. Healthgrades also honored Boswell with its Cardiac Surgery Excellence Award.
Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center has earned its own distinguished reputation, named a Best Regional Hospital by U.S. News & World Report and a Top 10 Hospital in Arizona by Ranking Arizona in 2025. Del E. Webb earned “High Performing” ratings across seven key procedures and conditions, with standout marks in heart failure and orthopedic care, reflecting outcomes that exceed the national average.
Both hospitals have also been recognized by the American Heart Association with the prestigious Get With The Guidelines – Stroke Gold Plus award, and both appear on the Forbes Top Hospitals 2026 list, with Banner Del E. Webb receiving 5 stars overall and Banner Boswell receiving 4 stars overall.
Meanwhile, Banner Sun Health Research Institute is changing the future of brain health. In early 2026, the institute opened two cutting-edge biomarker labs and became the first site globally to enroll patients in a trial testing a treatment to slow Lewy body dementia. Its Alzheimer’s research, recently published in Nature, is bringing early detection closer to a simple finger-prick blood test.
