Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I attend the LiveWell Conference?

The LiveWell Conference will feature workshops focused on holistic well-being to increase both your health span and your life span. It will include educational sessions offering practical advice on nutrition, physical activity, mental health, and longevity-enhancing activities and habits.

The conference is intended for adults of any age that are interested in not just living longer but living
healthier for as long as possible.

The term lifespan refers to the length of time for which a person lives; calculated from the time of birth to the time of death.

In contrast, health span focuses on the length of time a person is healthy, rather than just alive. Key factors may include: a life that is pain free, allowing the person to physically do things they enjoy; having the cognitive capacity to be present; and an
emotional sense of purpose or connection to others.
