Sun Health has launched a new branding campaign, designed to increase awareness of its goal to create pathways to population health and improve the health of entire populations – in the Northwest Valley and beyond.
Recently, the senior leadership team and our boards of directors reviewed the strategic plan that was developed in 2010, shortly following our partnership agreement with Banner Health. We were pleased to discover that many of the goals and objectives we established were met or were well on their way to fruition.
One of the key outcomes of this initial meeting was identifying a way to develop and educate the community about the new Sun Health. No longer an owner or operator of local hospitals, Sun Health was in a position to reinvent itself and its service to the community.
To name a few achievements since then, we have:
• Assumed operational oversight and ownership of the Sun Health Senior Living, management company
• Transitioned to full ownership of La Loma Village and The Colonnade
• Reached majority ownership of Grandview Terrace
• Launched some incredible community health programs that, even within only a year of operation, are exceeding expectations and earning national recognition
• Stayed true to our roots by continuing to provide philanthropic funding for local health care via our service to Banner Boswell Medical Center, Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center and Banner Sun Health Research Institute (more than $42 million has been contributed back to the hospitals since the partnership was formed).
All of this activity symbolizes our multi-faceted focus on a variety of health and healthy living priorities: philanthropy, senior living, community wellness and superior health care. These pathways to population health enable us to provide a variety of programs and services to enhance the lives of those we serve and ultimately, improve the health of entire populations.
The ad campaign strives to tell the Sun Health story through the eyes of individuals who benefit from our four pathways. The individuals featured in this campaign represent our own donors, residents and staff. We’ve also incorporated language that explains why individuals look to Sun Health as the premier resource for community health and senior services. The ads tell our story not only by sharing what we offer, but also by describing the merits of affiliation with Sun Health. In fact, some of our very own Sun Health Senior Living residents are featured in the ads sharing their personal experiences.
The campaign will run in various local print publications throughout the next four months. We also plan additional promotion via electronic communication, our website, social media and displays.
We hope you enjoy this campaign and find opportunities in your interactions with friends and colleagues to share its purpose and alignment with our mission. We look forward to your feedback.
