Cruise into Fashion: A Runway Sensation
Partial proceeds support superior health care in the West Valley
SURPRISE, AZ (Nov. 5, 2019) — More than 170 guests attended Sun Health Foundation’s Cruise into Fashion Show and Luncheon on Saturday, Nov. 2 at The Colonnade in Surprise. Their participation helped to support superior spine health and orthopedic care in the West Valley, a Generosity for Generations Campaign initiative.
The event included a runway show, lunch, swag bags, drawings for gift baskets, and more. A total of 29 models were healthcare providers, including several from The CORE Institute, Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, and leaders from Sun Health and Banner Health. They, and in many cases members of their family, were among those modeling some of the most stylish, comfortable, and colorful resort and travel wear that’s cruise and adventure ready.
Dillard’s Arrowhead Towne Center provided the fashions, swag bags, drawing prizes, and set up a boutique for shopping enjoyment. Ford’s World Travel provided information about the 12-day Friends of Sun Health cruise to Mexico and the Sea of Cortez departing Oct. 7, 2020.
“We’re not sure who enjoyed the show more, the guests or the models,” said Gina W. Ore, Chief Philanthropy Officer for Sun Health Foundation. “What great fun it was to see everyone have such a good time while supporting superior health care. We are grateful to Dillard’s, the models, and guests who helped make this event one to remember.”
