“Our leadership team has made it a priority to develop and nurture our leaders and staff,” said Joe La Rue, president and CEO of Sun Health. “Tahlya has excelled at strengthening the human resource functions for Sun Health Senior Living and we’re confident she can do the same for all Sun Health employees.”

Since joining Sun Health Senior Living in 2015, Ms. Visintainer led the implementation of an HRIS (Human Resource Information System), which streamlined human resources, management and payroll functions. Under her direction, the HR team has been working to improve employee engagement and to introduce performance management standards for all Sun Health employees.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to promote Sun Health as an employer that provides ongoing development and growth opportunities for its employees,” Ms. Visintainer said. “We offer a breadth of opportunities for employees. They can start as a part-time server in dining services and work their way up to any number of professional careers in health care, business or philanthropy.”

Ms. Visintainer’ s career includes human-resources leadership positions in the education, retail, restaurant and insurance industries, as well as work as an employment-law attorney

Originally from Yakima, Washington, Ms. Visintainer earned a bachelor’s in Human Resources Management from Arizona State University (ASU) and her juris doctorate from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU.
