Sun Health Foundation has been a champion for nonprofit health care since its establishment in 1971. A 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization, Sun Health Foundation is dedicated to ensuring community support for exceptional health care.
Donors’ contributions enhance two regional, award-winning medical centers, Banner Boswell and Banner Del E. Webb; an extensive rehabilitation center; a globally respected research institute; residential care for persons with memory loss and developmental disabilities; a progressive senior center; and other vital health services.
The health priorities, or Pillars of Clinical Excellence, target core health needs such as: cardiology, neuroscience, research and orthopedics. A team comprised of hospital administrators, clinical experts, business leaders, Foundation representatives and physician experts represent each pillar. Their charge is to gain philanthropic support, for specific needs within each of these core priorities.
