Joan Stukenborg has a family history of heart disease. She has received several heart procedures that were invasive, and required lengthy recovery. With the new TAVR procedure provided in part by funding from the Sun Health Foundation, Joan received life-saving surgery, and was walking around the nursing station only hours later, feeling better than she thought possible.
