The holidays are brighter for foster youth thanks to more than 200 toy donations made to Thrive Arizona by Sun Health staff and residents at Sun Health’s The Colonnade and Grandview Terrace.
The Christmas toy drive, through Sun Health Foundation, was coordinated by Rabbi Mindie Snyder and Chaplain Joshua Rivera with the Department of Spiritual Life for Sun Health Communities.
“We’re so pleased with the great response to this special toy drive and so humbled to partner with Thrive in support of foster youth programs in our community,” says Gina W. Ore, Chief Philanthropy Officer, Sun Health Foundation. “This generous expression of caring truly touches lives by creating hope for a positive future.”
Thrive connects with community partners to help provide the basic needs required to keep families together. They also help aged out foster youth transition from foster care to adulthood by providing transitional housing and resources.
